The govt. is buying books

What would the Soros and Saudi controlled media and the leftists do if the George W. Bush administration bought thousands of C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity and distributed the books overseas? We all know what they would do.
The networks would go insane with criticism and ridicule, the NY Times would be flooded with stories accusing President Bush of embarking on a modern-day Christian Crusade. The ACLU would scream about the 1st Amendment. MSNBC would yell and curse for an hour, then cry because no one watched. Al Sharpton would find a way to blame it all on Glenn Beck.Well, Obama's State Department did buy copies of a religious book. It was NOT Mere Christianity though. They bought the Ground Zero Imam, Feisal Addul Rauf’s, book, What's Right with Islam. In fact, they bought 2,000 copies and were donated 1,000 more for a total of 3,000 to be distributed on the Imam's taxpayer funded trip to the Middle East to raise the hundred million dollars for building the Mosque at Ground Zero where it will be a monument, not to those who died, but to the terrorists who murdered them and the faith that compelled them to do it.
An Obama official said “We don't characterize the books as religious per se... We look at these as books 'on' religion or books 'about' religion...”Then there's the trip itself. Our government funded Rauf’s Mosque fund raising tour to the Middle East for $16,000 plus another $10,000 for his books. The Obama White House has been delighted to give its blessing to an imam who has already bilked the govt. out of millions of dollars for his horrible apartment buildings, and refuses to condemn Hamas. He's the same guy who argues that the U.S. deserved the destruction of 9-11, is worse than al-Qaeda, and promotes the recognition of Sharia law in America.

Members of the media don’t seem to see anything wrong with the government acting as the Imam's personal agent. The New York Times casually buried the story at the bottom of an article with no question as to why taxpayers should be on the hook for the Imam's screed or his trip to begin with.
